My memory boxes now need to be emptied and refilled with fresh ones. There are so many things that are hard to let go – old letters, cards (does today’s civilization still know Hallmark?), some journal pages, a few notes and all those poems! But, they’ve done their part and served their purpose well. Their time’s up and I no longer have space for them in my future.
There were a lot of lessons learned in the past decades and another exciting phase of life is up ahead!
